Timothy C. Guinnane
Timothy C. Guinnane, 65, of 256 State St., died unexpectedly Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015, in his home.
A native of Jamestown, he was born Jan. 7, 1950, a son of Joseph and Virginia Anderson Guinnane.
He was a 1968 graduate of Jamestown High School and earned a bachelors degree in accounting from SUNY Fredonia.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for many years.
He attended Zion Covenant Church and was a former member of the Vikings.
He had a passion for sports and coached Babe Ruth softball and Boys and Girl Club softball. He also participated in several fantasy football and baseball leagues.
Surviving are his mother of Jamestown; three children: Christina Guinnane of Jamestown, Sean Guinnane of Buffalo, and Kelly Guinnane of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and two brothers: Robert (Camille) Guinnane of Jamestown, and Joseph (Janet) Guinnane of Montgomery, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1953.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Steve Kilburn will officiate.
Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 3-6 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
