Marie L. Johnson

She was born March 6, 1920, in Dunmore, Pa., the daughter of the late Pasquale and Carmella Lescaro Dellario.

Marie was a 1940 graduate of Jamestown High School. and had owned and operated Bonsey’s Restau-rant in Falconer from 1954- 85.

She enjoyed cooking, baking, cleaning, roller skating and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving is her husband, Elwood L. Johnson, whom she married March 2, 1973, in Jamestown; a son, Richard (Barb) DeJoy of Falconer; a daughter, Roxanne (Art) Jaroszynski of Falconer; six grandchil-dren: Annette Friery of Rochester, Christopher DeJoy of Charleston, S.C., Stephen DeJoy of James-town, Cassandra Kerr, Heather Heim and Brandon Jaroszynski, all of Buffalo; several great-grandchildren; her daughter-in-law, Betty DeJoy of Jamestown; a granddaughter-in-law, Arlene DeJoy of Rochester; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Stephen A. DeJoy; two grandsons: Jason DeJoy and Jarrett Jaroszynski; three brothers: Charles, Raymond and Joseph Dellario; and three sisters: Sue Girdano, Rose Martino and Jennie Gugino.

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, town of Ellicott. Visitation will not be observed.
