Mary C. Schultz Stevens
Mary C. Schultz Stevens, 91, of Heritage Village Rehab and Skilled Nursing, Gerry, formerly of Newfane, passed away Sunday, Aug. 3 at the facility.
Born May 15, 1923 in Youngstown, the daughter of the late John and Grace Lederhouse Schultz.
Mary was employed as a licensed practical nurse for 35 years at Ransomville General Hospital and Newfane Health Facility retiring in 1996.
She was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Ransomville and later in Gerry. Mary has been a Heritage Village resident since 1997.
Wife of 36 years to the late Clifford Stevens whom she married Jan. 31, 1942 and died Apr. 3, 1978; mother of Allan C. (Joan) Stevens of Oakfield and Carl F. (Meg) Stevens of Syracuse; grandmother of 4; great-grandmother of 2; and sister of the late Mildred Nichols, Dorothy Lane, Ruth Myers, Stanley and Casper Schultz. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Graveside service is 11 a.m. Wednesday in the North Ridge Cemetery, Lockport.
