Deborah D. Curry
MAYVILLE – Deborah D. Curry, 63, of 85 E. Chau-tauqua St., Mayville, died Sunday (June 15, 2014), at Select Specialty Hospital in Erie, Pa.
Debbie was born June 10, 1951, in Westfield, N.Y. She was a graduate of Mayville Central School in 1969.
She is survived by her mother, Shirley Stacey Sherman of Mayville; her father, Carl “Dick” Dalrymple of Westfield; two daughters: Mercedez “Marci” Jimenez of Mayville, and Margie Curry of Mayville; three sons: Scott R. Curry of Mayville, Larry Curry of Tennessee, and Billy Curry of Panama; several grandchildren; three sisters: Linda Little of Mayville, Dianna Crandall of Sherman, and Devona Johnson of Alabama; and a brother, Duane “Chip” Sherman II of Randolph, N.Y.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester C. “Carl” Curry, whom she married Oct. 31, 1981, in Mayville, and who died Jan. 11, 2008; stepfather, Duane Sherman; and stepmother, Eleanor Dalrymple.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Freay Funeral Home in Mayville. The Rev. Cathy Smith, chaplain with Hospice, will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
