FALCONER – Dark gray smoke darkened the sky over Falconer on Friday afternoon as firefighters fought a fire at JMI’s 1946 New York Ave., Falconer, facility.
JMI is the largest, family owned producer of ready-mix concrete in Chautauqua County. Firefighters from at least Falconer and Gerry responded to the fire as well as Jamestown Board of Public Utilities crews, the Chautauqua County Technical Rescue team and Ellicott police officers.
