Jamestown firefighters responded to a morning blaze on Tuesday. According to a news release, the blaze occurred around 2:10 a.m. at 629 Prendergast Ave. with heavy fire in the front of the building and the exterior. Bulk of the fire was knocked down on the exterior and extended into the attic. Crews worked to access the attic and were met with high heat conditions. Crews completed work at the scene by 7:30 a.m.
