Thunderstorms and heavy rains were a nuisance for Chautauqua County, but it was a different story for neighboring Cattaraugus County. In some locations, more than an inch of rain was reported from Monday evening through Tuesday morning. According the National Weather Service spotters, 2.06 inches was reported in Humphrey; 1.22 inches in Randolph; 1.2 inches in Allegany State Park and 1.02 inches in Delevan.
