BROCTON — A South Carolina bicyclist has died after striking a parked vehicle last week.
Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies reported Tuesday that at around 2:59 p.m. July 22, they responded with Brocton Fire Department and Chautauqua County Emergency Services to Harmon Avenue for a reported motor vehicle versus bicyclist accident. An investigation found the operator of the bicycle, Michael H. McKay, 64, of Greenville, S,C, was traveling west when he collided with a parked motor vehicle.
As a result of the accident, McKay died from his injuries.
