City man jailed after gunshot incident involving child, car
A Jamestown man is facing charges after complaints of gunshots being fired last week.
David J. Figueroa, 43, was charged with two counts of first-degree reckless endangerment, fourth-degree criminal mischief and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Officers of the Jamestown Police Department responded to several calls of a gunshot complaint near a South East residential street around 8 p.m. Wednesday. Officers located Figueroa who was in possession of a 20-gauge shotgun. It was discovered he had fired two 20 gauge slug rounds in the direction of the victim and their child. Subsequently an uninvolved vehicle was damaged from the slug rounds.
He was held in the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment
