City Man Charged After Raid In Euclid Avenue Apartments

A Jamestown man faced several charges after a drug raid on Euclid Avenue on Monday.

Tyler Perrin, 30, of was charged with four counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia after a raid at 12:48 p.m. Monday after the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 28 Euclid Ave., Apt. 209.

According to a police report, Perrin was found in the apartment along with a woman. After the residence was secured, detectives searched it and reportedly found 26.5 grams of methamphetamine, 18.4 grams of fentanyl, 6.6 grams of crack cocaine, digital scales and packaging material. Perrin also had a $170 believed to be proceeds from drug sales.

Perrin was taken to the Jamestown City Jail until he could be arraigned.

It’s the second raid in the 28 Euclid Ave. apartment building in roughly two months. Seven people were charged March 17 in apartment 203 in the building after a search warrant was executed by members of the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and Jamestown Police Department. The Jamestown Police Department SWAT made entry into the apartment. Present in the residence was Jaqwan L. Martin, Russell H. Rae, Anthony J. Wallace Jr., William R. Gardner, Tiffany Mahoney, Alicia M. Alexander and Vanessa L. Figueredo. As a result of the search, Narcotics Investigators seized 32.5 grams of Fentanyl, 11.3 grams of crack cocaine, 28 dosage units of suboxone, scales and packaging material for the distribution and sales of narcotics, and $3,373. Martin Rae, Wallace Jr., Gardner, Mahoney, Alexander and Figueredo were all charged with three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. Additionally, Wallace, Rae and Figueredo had arrest warrants out of Jamestown City Court. All seven will be arraigned in Jamestown City Court.
