Ian N. Sanchez

A second Jamestown man has been charged in connection to an early morning shooting July 24, 2025, near East Second and Cheney streets.

Jamestown police on Monday announced that Ian N. Sanchez, 24, of Jamestown has been indicted by a Chautauqua County Grant Jury on charges of attempted murder and first-degree assault. Sanchez was arraigned Monday in Chautauqua County Court and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail on $100,000 bail.

A man was found in the area with gunshot wounds that caused severe injuries. Xavier M. Ramos was charged on July 25, 2025, with first-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon. He is still in the Chautauqua County Jail.
