City Men Charged With Drug, Weapons Possession
Two Jamestown men face charges after Sheriff’s deputies and Jamestown police officers executed search warrants in unrelated incidents Tuesday and Wednesday.
At 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, narcotics investigators from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and Jamestown Police Department executed a search warrant at 3138 Fluvanna Ave. Ext. in Ellicott. Larry Grayson, 51, had allegedly been seen leaving the residence just prior to the search warrant being executed. Grayson’s vehicle was pulled over by the Jamestown Police Department a short distance from the residence. As a result of the search Investigators seized 3.8 grams of crack cocaine, scales and packaging used for the sale and distribution of narcotics, a .22 cal. rifle and $1,002.
Grayson was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. Grayson was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment.
A separate investigation into illegal drug trafficking in Jamestown resulted in a search warrant being executed by narcotics investigators from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and Jamestown Police Department at 2:57 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, at 300 Lincoln St. in the upper and lower apartments. Andrew Santiago, 43, of Jamestown, was charged with five counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon after investigators seized 29.4 grams of crack cocaine, 39.6 grams of fentanyl, 4.5 grams of methamphetamine, scales and packaging used for the sale and distribution of narcotics, a high-capacity magazine, a .32 caliber revolver and $80.
Santiago was taken to the Jamestown City Jail until he could be arraigned.
