Sales include former Jamestown restaurant, Dunkirk motel

The Post-Journal and OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate sales in Chautauqua County and recently looked at the transactions from Oct. 7-10.
During this time period, J. Pillittieri Inc. of Jamestown sold 1265 E. Second St. to Route 380, LLC of Gerry for $74,000. This is the location of the former Michael’s AJ Texas HOTS. The restaurant had been in business for more than 40 years before closing.
Also during this time period, 363 and 365 Lake Shore Drive West, Dunkirk was sold to Point WNY, LLC for $300,000. This is the location of Lakeview Studio Lodge and a neighboring residence. According to a real estate listing, the motel has a potential of 16 rooms to rent.
In another sale, the Chautauqua County Sheriff Office Mounted Division Association sold 1679 Sanford Rd., Cherry Creek to Chautauqua County Equestrian Trail System, Inc. for $55,000. The Mounted Division Association ended earlier this year after it was announced the group would be retired.

363 and 365 Lake Shore Drive West, Dunkirk was sold in October for $300,000. This motel has a potential of up to 16 rooms to rent.
The highest sale during this time period was 2478 and 2482 Shadyside Road, Mina which was sold for $1,260,000.
Including the sales previously mentioned, there were 10 sales that were $250,000 or higher. The remaining top sales were as follows:

– 10412 Main St., Mina sold for $550,000.
– 2387 S. Hill Drive, Kiantone sold for $418,100.
– 160 Temple St., Fredonia sold for $392,000.
– 5471 Broadway Road, Ellery sold for $325,555.
– 4406 Fairmount Ave., Busti sold for $290,000.
– 5550 Rt. 474, Ashville, in the towns of Harmony and North Harmony sold for $280,000.
– 56 Otter St., Dunkirk sold for $270,400.
