Ripley No. 7 In State Spending Per Student

The Ripley Central School District is No. 7 in the state for spending per pupil, according to New York State Education Department data from the 2022-23 school year.

The district spent $45,059 for each of its 150 students. Secondary school students attend classes at the Chautauqua Lake school district.

The Ripley district has the highest spending per student and the lowest enrollment in Chautauqua County, by a large margin. The Clymer district is the second-smallest but has more than twice as many students, at 360. It also ranks second in the county on spending per student, at $27,755.

The statewide average spending per student was $26,857.
