Chautauqua’s Got Talent: Round 2 Showcases Exceptional Ability, Heartfelt Collaborations

Round Two of Chautauqua’s Got Talent delivered an unforgettable evening of performances at The Spire Theater, 317 E. Third St., leaving the audience in awe of the immense talent on display. From soulful singers to electrifying musicians, the stage was alive with creativity and passion.

As the contestants took to the stage, it was clear that each one had poured their heart and soul into their performance. The level of talent was extraordinary, with each act delivering a standout performance that captivated the audience from start to finish.

Something that truly made the night special were the heartfelt collaborations that took place on stage. Daniel Kohler, accompanied by his granddaughter and seasoned CGT veteran, Gracelyn Kohler, delivered a touching duet that tugged at the heartstrings of everyone in the audience. Similarly, Marcus Leaper was joined by Rya Giuffre, a member of the CGT production team and daughter to The Spire owners, whose voice added a magical touch to Leaper’s performance as he sang and played guitar.

With so much talent on display, the competition was fierce, and the results were incredibly close. In the end, 18 acts emerged victorious, earning their place in the next round of the contest. Aly Dalton, Angel Busch, Billy Mac, Bobby Michael, Daniel Kohler, Daughters of Thunder, Dewayne Moore, Dull Razors, Isaac Sinatra, Jade Giambrone, Jedidiah Nick, Kambria Kennedy, Kevin Downey, Marcus Leaper, Marley Ohl, Meghan Kelsey, Melani Witherspoon, and Sean Herbin will move ahead.

It’s important to acknowledge the talent and dedication of all who graced the stage. Saying goodbye to those who did not advance is never easy, but their contributions to the competition will not be forgotten.

With Round 3 on the horizon, the excitement continues to build as we edge closer to the grand finale on May 20 at 7 p.m. at The Spire Theater.

Monday, another evening of talent, camaraderie, and celebration of Chautauqua’s brightest stars is slated to continue to shine.
