MAYVILLE — If you happen to be driving around Chautauqua Lake, chances are you’ll see a buffalo — a Buffalo Bills snow sculpture that is.

Nick and Sally Andriaccio, owners of Andriaccio’s Restaurant, again commissioned Vince Liuzzo to design and create his latest snowy masterpiece.

And the Andriaccios are not done with just commissioning the “Billieve” monument to the Buffalo Bills; they have added another incentive for would-be Bills fans.

“Anyone who takes a selfie and tags the photo when they upload it to a multimedia platform with #andriaccios tagline will receive a 17% discount off their meals or order,” said Liuzzo, the creator and designer of the lawn ornament. “This is in honor of Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who is also assigned the number 17 jersey.”

Liuzzo is no stranger to promoting the region’s beloved Bills.

“This is my fourth year doing this with the Andriaccios,” Liuzzo said. “This is the fourth time doing artwork for them. The first artwork I did was the Buffalo Bills log. Then the next year I did the logo again, just a lot bigger. The third year I did a helmet of the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ice helmets facing each other with an ice sculpture of the Vince Lombardi Trophy in the middle.

“I carve everything using a chainsaw. Chain-sawing is a form of art.”

The snowy masterpiece has received accolades from local Bills fans.

“It’s really cool, and what a good omen to help our Bills on their way to the Super Bowl,” said Gary Danforth, a resident of Westlake.

However, not everyone is jumping on the Buffalo Bills bandwagon just yet.

“I like the artwork and the process which goes into creating it,” said Jamestown resident Daved Simunich. “However, I’m originally from Akron, Ohio, so I’m a Cleveland Brown’s fan.”
