The Kiwanis Club of Falconer hosted the annual Charter Night recently at the War Veterans Recreation Club in Fluvanna. The club celebrated its 50th anniversary. Among the guests who attended the event were New York State Kiwanis District Governor Lucien Giancursio and Heather Henderson. Giancursio outlined his initiatives for the upcoming year. The Southwestern Division’s Lt. Governor Bill Karrow was also among the speakers. Past Lt. Governor Wendy Wilcox installed the club’s officers and board members. They included: President Mike Erlandson, Vice President Jean Prector, Treasurer Val Pierce and Co-Secretaries Phyllis Belin and Donna Barber. Governor Giancusio also installed two new members, including Macey Arnone and Kris Stimson.
