While it houses space for performers to showcase their creative talents, The Spire Theater is in need of a new roof.
As part of its Raise The Roof Campaign, Inspire Fest will be held Sunday on three different stages -- Spire, Odyssey, and Courtyard at the InSpire Center/Spire Theater in Jamestown.
According to Angelo Valentino, event organizer, it is the oldest public building in the city and a historic landmark in downtown Jamestown.
"The Spire Theater holds a significant place in the hearts of the community, serving as a cultural hub for over 150 years," Valentino said. "By attending InSpire Fest, individuals will have the opportunity to contribute directly to the preservation and continued success of this cherished edifice."
From musicians to dancers, singers to flow artists, InSpire Fest will showcase, Valentino said, some of the region's most talented performers.
"We are thrilled to bring the community together for InSpire Fest. This festival not only showcases the incredible talent we have locally but also provides an avenue for us to come together and support a cause that is near and dear to our hearts. The InSpire Development Center and Spire Theater have played a vital role in fostering creativity, community engagement, and growth, and we are committed to ensuring their future by addressing the much-needed repairs," Valentino said.
