It appears a serious incident, believed to be a car-pedestrian accident, that took place shortly after 6 p.m. Friday on Route 60 near the Kwik Fill involves a fatality. Crews from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department, Chautauqua County Emergency Medical Services and Fredonia Fire Department were called to the location. Later in the evening, a coroner was called to the scene. Police agencies also were assisting in traffic control on the road.
