Police Investigating ‘Suspicious Death’ In Jamestown

The Jamestown Police Department said it's investigating a "suspicious death" after a body was discovered inside a city apartment Tuesday afternoon.
Few details were made available, however, the department said it was being assisted by the Chautauqua County District Attorney's Office.
Emergency personnel were called around 1:20 p.m. to 118 Price St. for a person with an unknown medical emergency in an upper apartment. Shortly thereafter, JPD said it was investigating a body located inside the residence.
Police vehicles for several hours blocked both ends of the road, between Lakeview and Prendergast avenues.
By 6 p.m. members of the Chautauqua County Forensic Investigation Team arrived on scene.
