Jamestown Man Charged In Peck Settlement Road Stabbing

The New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigations arrested Justice W. McBride, 17 of Jamestown on Tuesday on charges of first-degree assault, second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

At 2:51 a.m. Monday, state troopers from the Jamestown barracks responded to a report of two people stabbed on Peck Settlement Road in Kiantone. Further investigation revealed an altercation in the residence between McBride and two other people which resulted in the other two people being taken to UPMC Chautauqua WCA Hospital in Jamestown of their stab wounds. One victim was treated and released and the second victim was transferred to Hamot Medical Center and is listed in stable condition.

McBride will be in Kiantone Town Court later. He was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail. The State Police were assisted by the Jamestown Police Department. The investigation is continuing.
