JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Dimari N. Fields, 19, of Jamestown, was charged July 2 with second-degree criminal contempt. According to police, at about 2:20 a.m., officers responded to the area of Buffalo Street and Beechview Avenue for a reported fight. During the investigation, police said, it was found that Fields was in the presence of a female who has an order of protection against Fields. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Jaclyn Anderson, 46, of Jamestown, was charged June 30 with resisting arrest, and having an outstanding arrest warrant. According to police, at about 4:18 p.m., officers observed Anderson in the area of Newland Avenue and Myrtle Street, knowing she had an outstanding Jamestown City Court warrant. When officers, police said, attempted to place her into custody, Anderson allegedly fled on foot, and after a brief pursuit, she was placed into custody without further incident. Olean Man pleads guilty to selling drugs from Jamestown man

An Olean man who was accused of selling drugs he received from a Jamestown man has pleaded guilty. U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo has announced that 55-year-old Theodore E. Coffie a/k/a Teddy Ticklez pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara to narcotics conspiracy and being a felon in possession of a firearm, which carry a mandatory minimum penalty of 10 years in prison, a maximum of life, and a fine of $10 million. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Austin J. Seward, 32, was charged June 30 with driving with ability impaired by drugs, and making an improper turn. According to police, at about 12:30 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on the south side. Through investigation, it was determined that the vehicle's operator, Seward, was operating the vehicle while allegedly impaired by drugs. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Abraham M. Kamara, 48, of Georgia, was charged June 24 with driving while intoxicated. According to police, at about 2:19 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop at West Second and North Main streets. A subsequent investigation revealed that Kamara allegedly was operating the vehicle while intoxicated. He was placed into custody, and taken to Jamestown City Jail. LANTERN BLAMED IN WEEKEND FIRE SINCLAIRVILLE --- At about 6:28 a.m. Saturday, multiple fire departments and the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to 30 Sinclair Drive for a reported structure fire. The firefighters were able to knock down and extinguish the fire quickly. Through investigation, it was found that the cause of the fire was accidental in nature caused by a decorative wooden lantern with a lit candle on the exterior of the house.
