JAMESTOWN POLICE
– Shawn A. Beardsley, 33, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal impersonation, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and a traffic ticket failure to use sidewalk at 1:08 a.m. Wednesday after officers patrolling the area of Winsor Street saw a man walking in the road and conducted a street check. According to a police report, officers were eventually able to identify the male as 33 year old Shawn A. Beardsley, who officers had
prior knowledge of having an outstanding bench warrant out of Jamestown City Court. During the investigation, it was found that Beardsley allegedly provided officers with the name of a relative in an attempt to elude arrest for his warrant. It was also found that Beardsley was allegedly in possession of cocaine. Beardsley was arrested and taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
– DUNKIRK – Tyson E. Rebecca, 55, of Steubenville, Ohio, was charged with DWI and disobeying a traffic control device at 10:10 p.m. Tuesday after deputies pulled a vehicle over in the city of Dunkirk for an alleged traffic infraction. Rebecca was alleged to be driving while intoxicated. He was arrested and later released to be in Dunkirk City Court later.
