JAMESTOWN POLICE
– Xavier L. Williams, 26, of Jamestown was charged with two counts of aggravated criminal contempt, two counts of first-degree criminal contempt, resisting arrest and second-degree obstructing governmental administration at 1:28 a.m. Friday after officers responded to a west side address for a domestic dispute in progress. Upon arrival officers allegedly saw Williams exit the residence and then start to run away. Officers were aware that Xavier had an active arrest warrant and stopped him nearby. After a brief struggle, Xavier was placed into custody. Through investigation, it was found that two individuals at the residence have an active stay-away order of protection against Xavier. Police report the two counts of aggravated criminal contempt and first-degree criminal contempt are a result of Williams’ past history.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE
– LAKEWOOD – Benjamin J. Osman, 49, of Ashville was charged with petit larceny and endangering the welfare of a child at 10:26 a.m. Wednesday after officers responded to the TJ Maxx location in Lakewood for a report of a man in the store. Osman allegedly had an active warrant from the Lakewood-Busti Police Department. Osman was charged and released with an appearance ticket.
