– Brandon M. Tingue, 39, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt at 3:20 a.m. Wednesday after officers responded to a residence on the east side of Jamestown for a reported order of protection violation. Upon arrival, officers allegedly found Tingue hiding in the woods a short distance away from the victim’s residence. The other person had a valid stay away order or protection against Tingue. Tingue was charged and taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.
– Eugene V. Lesak Jr., 59, of Jamestown was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and third-degree criminal trespass and Mark E. Brightman, 62, of Jamestown was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, third-degree criminal trespass and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 3 p.m. Tuesday after officers responded to an east side business for a reported suspicious situation. Upon arrival officers reportedly found Lesak Jr. and Brightman inside of a fenced-in area of a business with no permission to be there. Through investigation it was additionally discovered that Lesak Jr. and Brightman allegedly were in possession of scrap metal and copper belonging to the business, while Brightman was allegedly found with a small quantity of methamphetamine. Both were charged, processed at the city jail and released with appearance tickets to be in City Court later. Ellicott police officers assisted at the scene.
– Corey P. Bryant, 40, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree felony criminal contempt at 11:12 p.m. Monday after officers responded to the city's east side for a reported domestic incident. It was discovered that during a verbal dispute, Bryant allegedly pushed and struck a woman who had a valid order of protection against him. Bryant was charged and taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.
