CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
-- WESTFIELD --- At around 8 p.m. Friday, deputies of the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported past tense altercation. Through an investigation it was found that 41-year-old, Larry M. Houser of Westfield did subject another person to unwanted physical contact as well as prevent them from contacting emergency services. Houser was charged with second-degree harassment and fourth-degree criminal mischief. He was placed into custody and brought to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment for the alleged charges.
--- SILVER CREEK -- Around 11:30 p.m. Friday, deputies responded to an address for an altercation. It was determined through investigation that the suspect, Tiffany Farley, 45, had allegedly obstructed the breathing of the victim in the presence of children. She was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and endangering the welfare of a child. Farley was placed into custody and transported to county jail for arraignment and will be in the Town of Hanover Court later.
-- RIPLEY -- At 6:35 a.m. Friday, deputies were dispatched to an address on Shortman Road for a suspicious person complaint. After an investigation, it was determined that Brian D. Blackburn, 65, of Versailles, Ky., did enter and remain unlawfully in a garage of a residence. Blackburn was taken into custody and was later released from the scene with a ticket for second-degree criminal trespass. He is set to be in the Town of Ripley Court later.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
-- Conner A. Dale, 19, of Jamestown, was charged with third-degree identity theft and five counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
At approximately 8:59 a.m. Friday, officers were on patrol in the area of East Fifth Street and
observed Dale, who was wanted by the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office on a felony warrant for grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property. Police also had pending charges
against Dale for using a stolen credit card the previous day at a Jamestown business.
As Dale was taken into custody on his outstanding warrant, he was found to be in possession of four additional credit cards belonging to three separate victims. The credit cards had been stolen during vehicle larcenies in the early morning hours Friday. Dale was transported to the Jamestown City Jail on his outstanding warrant and held in the Jamestown City Jail pending
arraignment.
-- Dakota J. Raymond, 29, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal contempt.
At approximately 8:16 a.m. Friday, officers responded to a Jamestown Public School for a
reported violation of an order of protection. Officers received information that Raymond was at the school in violation of a stay-away order of protection involving a juvenile victim who was present at the school.
Upon arrival, officers located Raymond and took him into custody without incident. Officers were also advised that Raymond had an active arrest warrant for violating the same order of protection involving the same victim at the same school on Sept. 4. Raymond was transported to the Jamestown City Jail and held pending arraignment.
-- Tayshia M. Berg, 25, was charged with third-degree assault on Saturday.
At approximately 3:02 a.m., officers responded to a westside address for a domestic dispute.
Upon arrival officers learned the defendant, Berg, assaulted a victim causing injury. Berg was placed into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail where she was held pending an arraignment.
-- William C. Leamer, 43, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt.
At about 3:52 p.m. Friday, an officer responded to an East side address for an unwanted person complaint. While in the residence, the officer observed Leamer inside the residence, in the presence of another individual who is the protected party in a Stay Away Order of Protection. Leamer was placed in custody and transported to the city jail without incident and held pending arraignment in the Jamestown City Court.
-- Jaylise S. Calderon, 24, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree warrant for burglary, petit larceny, second-degree criminal contempt and two new counts of second-degree criminal contempt.
At approximately 12:10 p.m. Saturday, officers were dispatched to a West Side address for an order of protection violation in progress. Officers determined that Calderon was actively violating an order of protection requiring her to stay away from a male victim on scene.
Calderon additionally had an outstanding warrant for her arrest from a previous
incident for charges. She was being held in the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.
