CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

-- MAYVILLE -- At 8:22 a.m. Saturday, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle on North Erie Street for a speed violation. It was later determined the vehicle operator, Peter Way, 31, of Pittsburgh, was driving while intoxicated. Way was issued tickets for driving while intoxicated, speed in zone, and consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle. He is to answer the charges in the Town of Chautauqua Court later.

-- GERRY -- At around 10:24 p.m. Friday, deputies were dispatched to an address for a past tense altercation. Upon investigation it was found that 20-year-old Anthony J.B. Miller of Bemus Point did commit multiple offenses. Miller was taken into custody without incident and later charged with endangering the welfare of a child, unlawful imprisonment, second-degree aggravated harassment and fourth-degree criminal mischief. He was transported to county jail for arraignment.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

-- Kevaun L. Green, 25, of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

On Friday, at around 8:35 p.m., officers from the Jamestown Police Department, in conjunction with Chautauqua County Probation, conducted a probation check at a residence on the south side of the city. During the investigation, it was determined that Green was in possession of a small quantity of fentanyl. Green was taken into custody without further incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.

He was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court on a later date.

-- Mandy L. Kruise, 48, of Jamestown, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

On Friday, officers from the Jamestown Police Department, in conjunction with Chautauqua County Probation, conducted a probation check at a residence on the north side. During the investigation, it was determined that Kruise was in possession of a small quantity of cocaine. Kruise was taken into custody without further incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.

She was released with an appearance ticket and is to be in Jamestown City Court on a later date.

-- Jessie J. Estus, 30, of Lakewood, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

At around 4:18 a.m. Aug. 26, officers responded to Kwik Fill on West Third Street for a reported female asleep behind the wheel of a vehicle. Upon arrival officers located Estus. Through an investigation it was determined Estus was driving the vehicle while ability impaired by drugs.

Estus was also found to be in possession of a quantity of pills that were controlled substances. She was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail, where she was later released with an appearance ticket.

-- Zachary Fisher, 29, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree harassment with physical contact, first-degree criminal contempt and violating an order of protection.

Around 7:46 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to a domestic dispute on the southside of the city. Fisher was charged in the incident and held in city jail pending arraignment.
