JAMESTOWN POLICE
– Justin A. Conklin, 27, of Jamestown was charged with aggravated criminal contempt, first-degree criminal contempt, second-degree strangulation and second-degree assault after officers responded to a reported domestic dispute at 2:16 a.m. Friday on the north side of Jamestown. Conklin allegedly strangled the other person, causing a loss of consciousness and physical injury. Conklin had a valid Order of Protection to stay-away from the other person. Conklin was charged and taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.
– Lisa M. Weaver, 37, of Jamestown was charged with being a fugitive from justice at 10 p.m. Thursday after officers working with Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies on a joint GIVE detail responded to a west side address for a warrant investigation. Weaver was allegedly wanted out of Erie, Pa., in connection with a 2023 assault. Weaver was taken to the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment and extradition proceedings.
