JAMESTOWN POLICE
– Kahmara R. Holloman, 19, of Jamestown was charged with two counts of unlawful imprisonment, endangering the welfare of a child, third-degree assault and fourth-degree grand larceny at 1:18 p.m. Sunday after officers responded to a west side home for a report of a physical domestic dispute in progress. Upon arrival, officers could allegedly hear yelling coming from the upstairs area of the residence. Officers also report seeing a smashed out window on the side of the residence, making contact with people there. Holloman allegedly had assaulted another person with a screwdriver and physically attacked her over the course of several hours in front of a child. Holloman was charged and taken to the city jail until she could be arraigned.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
– NORTH HARMONY – Edward Wojcik, 62, of Ashville was charged with boating while intoxicated common law, boating while intoxicated – BAC .08% or greater and no sound signal device on personal watercraft after a water rescue by the Sheriff’s Office Navigation Division at 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Deputies with the Navigation Division responded to a report of a man in distress who was in the water in North Harmony. Once the man was safely on board it was determined that Wojcik was operating a personal watercraft and had fallen off the craft and into Chautauqua Lake. During the investigation it was found that Wojcik was allegedly intoxicated. He was taken to the Sheriff’s Office’s Ashville Substation where he consented to a breath test to determine the alcohol content of his blood, which allegedly resulted in a .20% BAC. Wojcik was released to be in North Harmony Town Court later.
– PORTLAND – Christopher A. Van Hassel, 47, of Florida was charged with being a fugitive from justice at 10:32 a.m. Sunday after deputies pulled a vehicle over for an alleged traffic infraction. Van Hassel reportedly had an active warrant out of the State of Pennsylvania. He was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail until an extradition hearing to send Van Hassel back to Pennsylvania is held.
