JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
-- Tony L. Mosley, 34, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal mischief and second-degree assault.
At around 11:12 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to 207 Foote Ave (UPMC Chautauqua) for a disorderly subject. Through an investigation it was found thatMosley assaulted a staff member and caused thousands of dollars of damage to hospital equipment. He was placed into custody without incident and transported to Jamestown City Jail. He was being held pending arraignment.
-- A pair of individuals are facing charges after being located inside a condemned house.
Teri Galati, 44, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and third-degree criminal trespass while Leonard Wilson, 64, was charged with third-degree criminal trespass.
At around 8:10 p.m. Friday, officers responded to a condemned house on the south side of Jamestown for a reported trespass. Upon arrival, officers located Galati and Wilson
in the condemned structure. Both were placed into custody without incident. Galati and Wilson were transported to City Jail where they awaited arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
-- HARMONY -- Around 1:26 p.m. Saturday, deputies came across a suspicious situation on Button Valley Road. Through an investigation, Stephen Foster, 30, of Corry, was found to have warrants out of the State of Pennsylvania. Foster was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail and charged with being a fugitive of justice. He was held in jail pending his extradition hearing back to Pennsylvania.
-- SHERMAN -- At approximately 1:59 a.m. Saturday, deputies with the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to an address in the village for a report of an unwanted person. Through investigation it was determined that Heather Ramsey, 45, of Sherman had made unwanted physical contact with another person during an altercation. Ramsey was issued an appearance ticket and will be in the town of Mina court later.
-- PORTLAND -- At 4:05 p.m. Saturday, deputies responded to an address for an alleged order of protection violation. Through an investigation, it was found that 39-year-old Jacob H. Tye of Fredonia did violate a valid stay away order of protection. Tye was later located and charged with second-degree criminal contempt. Tye was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail to participate in the centralized arraignment program.
