JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
-- Athena M. Partyka, 22, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, third-degree criminal tampering and resisting arrest.
On Friday, at approximately 5:30 a.m., officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s third platoon responded to a panic alarm at a downtown address.
Upon arrival, they found Partyka, a 22-year-old resident of Jamestown, inside the business displaying erratic behavior. Following an investigation, it was determined that Partyka had caused approximately $1,000 in damages to the property.
When informed that she was under arrest, Partyka briefly resisted before being taken into custody. She was subsequently transported to the Jamestown City Jail and held pending arraignment.
-- Kristen E. Capizzi, 30, of Jamestown was charged with driving while allegedly impaired by drugs and multiple traffic tickets.
At around 6:34 p.m. July 15, officers conducted a traffic stop on a motor vehicle after witnessing multiple moving traffic infractions. Upon investigation, it was determined that the driver, Capizzi, was operating the vehicle while
her ability was impaired by drugs. She was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail. She was released and will be in court later for her second such offense in a month's span.
-- Justice W McBride, 26, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, moving from lane unsafely and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.
Around 5:40 a.m. Friday, officers responded to an accident on the City’s East side. Further investigation determined the operator, McBride, was driving while under the influence of drugs. McBride was taken into custody and transported to the city jail. He was being held pending arraignment.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
-- CHAUTAUQUA -- At around 2:40 a.m. Sunday, deputies responded to an address in the town for a reported altercation. Through an investigation, it was found that 31-year-old Matthew A. Brzozowiec, 31, of Derby did subject two people to unwanted physical contact. Brzozowiec was placed into custody and later transported to the Chautauqua County Jail without incident where he will be arraigned on the alleged charges.
-- KIANTONE -- A Jamestown man has been charged in connection with a town burglary. On July 18, Brandon C. Knisley, 44, was charged with third-degree burglary in a June 28 incident where he allegedly entered a building on Martin Road and cut and stole wiring. He was transported to county jail for arraignment.
