JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
– Brook A. Patterson, 40, of Jamestown was charged June 15 with felony driving while ability impaired by drugs, and two counts of first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. According to police, at about 8 a.m., officers responded to the area of Baker Street and Prather Avenue for a reported assault. During the investigation, officers determined that Patterson, allegedly had been involved in a domestic incident, and had operated a maroon sedan while his driving privileges were revoked. Further investigation revealed that Patterson allegedly was operating the vehicle while under the influence of drugs. He was placed into custody, and taken to Jamestown City Jail, where he allegedly refused to submit to a chemical test to determine the drug content of his blood. He will be in Jamestown City Court later.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT
– Glen M. Barrett, 50, of Lakewood, was charged June 14 with third-degree grand larceny, third-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, second-degree criminal impersonation, and petit larceny. According to officials, at about 12:34 a.m., deputies responded to 64 S. Erie St in the village of Mayville for a reported stolen vehicle complaint. On arrival deputies were informed the vehicle was possibly spotted on Hannum Road. Once in the area deputies located an individual attempting to conceal himself in the woods. Deputies made contact with him and the man gave a name belonging to another individual. Deputies were able to identify the subject as Barrett. Through investigation it was found Barrett allegedly was the individual to take the vehicle from 64 S. Erie St. Barrett was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized processing. He will be in Chautauqua Town Court later.
