JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

– Billy K. Mullins, 38, of Jamestown, was charged April 3 as a fugitive of justice. According to police, at 7:24 p.m., officers were on patrol in the area of East Sixth and Lincoln streets when they observed Mullins walking in the area. Officers were aware he had an active warrant from Warren, Pa. Mullins was placed into custody without incident and taken to Jamestown City Jail. He was being held pending arraignment and extradition.

– Samaria J. Cruz, 19, and Marilyn J. Freeman, 32, were both charged April 3 with third-degree assault. Police said, at around 4:47 a.m. officers responded to an eastside address for a reported fight. Through an investigation, it was determined that Cruz and Freeman allegedly engaged in a physical altercation causing injuries to both parties. Both were both placed into custody and taken to the city jail. Both will be in Jamestown City Court later.

– Tremayne K. Green, 42, of Jamestown, was charged April 4 with driving while intoxicated. According to police, at about 12:44 a.m., officers working a Gun Involved Elimination Initiative (GIVE) detail observed a traffic infraction on a vehicle traveling in the area of South Main and Harrison streets. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver of the vehicle was identified as Green. Further investigation discovered that Green allegedly was operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Green was placed into custody and was taken to the city Jail, and will be in city court later.

– Steven L. Osborne, 19, of Jamestown, was charged April 5 with third-degree criminal trespass while a 17-year-old Hamburg resident is facing charges. According to police, at about 1:35 p.m., officers were dispatched to 443 Buffalo St. for a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, officers were advised by the victim that two suspects had fled from the scene. Officers located the two suspects a short distance away from the scene, and both were placed into custody without incident. Osborne was taken to the city jail, and will be in city court later while the 17-year-old was taken to JPD, turned over to another party, and will be charged later.

– Todd A. Dellahoy, 28, of Jamestown, was charged April 2 with having outstanding bench warrants, and resisting arrest. According to police, at about 6:45 p.m., officers were working a GIVE detail when they observed Dellahoy walking on Newland Avenue. Officers exited the patrol car, and ordered Dellahoy to stop in which he allegedly did not, and led officers on a short foot pursuit. He was apprehended, and taken to the city jail. He will be in city court later.

– James R. Geist, 58, of Jamestown, was charged April 4 with DWI, and DWI per se. According to police, officers were called to an area on the north side for a reported intoxicated driver. Officers arrived, police said, and made contact of the vehicle’s operator, Geist. Through investigation, officers were able to determine that Geist allegedly was operating the vehicle in an intoxicated state. Geist was placed into custody without incident, and taken to the city jail. He was later released, and will be in city court later.

– Natasha S. Lockett, 25, of Jamestown, was charged April 4 with third-degree criminal mischief. According to police, at about 10:34 a.m., officers responded to a southside address for a criminal mischief complaint. Upon arrival, police said, officers spoke with the victim, and she advised officers that Lockett damaged her vehicle by allegedly throwing a brick through her window causing it to break. After the incident, Lockett fled the scene, and later turned herself into JPD. She will be in city court later.

– Jeffrey M. Kolb, of Buffalo, and Jemal Turner, of Buffalo, were both charged April 3 with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. According to police, at about 7:27 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Water and King streets. Officers identified the occupants of the vehicle as Kolb and Turner. Upon further investigation, it was found that both were in alleged possession of a quantity of fentanyl, and subsequently placed into custody without incident. Kolb and Turner were taken to the city jail where Kolb also was found to have an outstanding warrant from the West Seneca Police Department. Both will be in city court later.

– Demetrius K. Goldsmith, 35, of Jamestown, was charged April 4 with second-degree menacing, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. According to police, at about 6:15 p.m., officers responded to a southside address for a report of a person with a weapon. Upon arrival, it was determined that during an altercation, Goldsmith allegedly had menaced the victim with an axe. Officers located Goldsmith inside the residence, and placed him into custody without incident. It was also found that Goldsmith had an outstanding Jamestown City Court Arrest Warrant. He was taken to the city jail, and will be in city court later.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

– Cassandra A. Nickerson, 24, was charged April 4 with petit larceny. According to police, officers responded to Walmart, located at 350 E. Fairmount Ave., for a shoplifting complaint. After investigation, it was found that Nickerson allegedly stole a box of Opill birth control pills after passing all points of sale without paying for the item. Nickerson was placed into custody, and taken to LBPD. She will be in Busti Town Court later.

– Aaron A. Sheldon, 31, of Jamestown, was charged March 29 with two counts of first-degree criminal contempt, aggravated family offense, fourth-degree stalking, and second-degree stalking. According to police, at about 8:39 a.m., Sheldon allegedly violated an order of protection, when he failed to stay away from the home of a female Lakewood resident. After delivering sufficient evidence to the Busti Town Court, an arrest warrant was issued. On April 5, with assistance of the Ellicott Police Department, the warrant was executed, and Sheldon was placed into custody without incident. He was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized processing. He will be in town court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

– Christine L. Gard, 45, of the town of Hanover was charged April 4 with second-degree aggravated harassment, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. According to officials, at approximately 11:45 a.m. deputies took an aggravated harassment complaint in the town of Charlotte. After an investigation, Gard, 45, of Hanover was placed into custody, and taken to the county jail for centralized arraignment. She will be in Charlotte Town Court later.

WESTFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT

– Julie L. Kelsey, 31, of Westfield, was charged April 4 with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. According to police, at about 1:24 a.m., officers located a vehicle parked at 96 E. Main St., associated with a person who had an active County Sheriff’s Department warrant. Officers made contact with Kelsey, the vehicle’s occupant, and confirmed the warrant. During a search, officers located substances that subsequently tested positive for methamphetamine. She was taken into custody without incident, and taken to the county jail. She will be in Westfield Town Court later.
