JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
– Desiray J. Corrigan, of Jamestown, was charged March 25 with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal impersonation, and having outstanding warrants. According to police, at about 5:25 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Newland Avenue and Charles Street for observed traffic infractions. Through investigation, it was found that Corrigan was operating the vehicle. Police said that Corrigan allegedly provided officers with a New York State driver’s license of an uninvolved female in an attempt to evade arrest on her outstanding arrest warrants from JPD, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, and Fredonia Police Department. She was placed into custody, and taken to Jamestown City Jail. While in the city jail, officers conducted a search of her person and located an alleged quantity of methamphetamine. She will be in Jamestown City Court later.
