CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT
– Scott Humble, 64, of the town of North Harmony was charged March 9 with two counts of second-degree criminal contempt. According to officials, at about 3 p.m., deputies received notification that Humble was in possession of dogs on his property. A search warrant was executed for the property, resulting in the discovery of two five-month-old Keeshond dogs located within a rear kennel. A court order, previously issued by the town of North Harmony on October 16, 2025, explicitly prohibited Humble from owning, harboring, or having custody or control of any animals until the final disposition of his pending animal cruelty case, stemming from an incident on September 24, 2025, which remains unresolved. Both dogs were seized and forfeited to the Chautauqua County Humane Society. Humble will be in North Harmony Town Court later.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
– James L. Lindsay III, 50, was charged March 10 with second-degree harassment, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and being a fugitive from justice. According to police, at about 7:31 p.m., officers were on patrol in the area of Forest Avenue when they observed Lindsay walking. Officers were aware that Lindsay had active warrants from Jamestown as well as Warren, Pa. Officers placed Lindsay into custody, and recovered a small quantity of crack cocaine from his person. Lindsay was taken to Jamestown City Jail, is awaiting extradition, and will be in Jamestown City Court later.
