LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

– Kaylee N. Keech, 27, of Jamestown, was charged March 6 with petit larceny, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and tampering with physical evidence. According to police, at about 8 p.m., officers were investigating a suspicious acting person in the area of the Lakewood Walmart. During the investigation, it was discovered that Keech allegedly had stolen merchandise from the store. Keech was stopped, and placed into custody, and determined that she was in alleged possession of a controlled substance, and attempted to conceal it from officers. She will be in Busti Town Court later.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

– Kenneth Walker, 41, of Jamestown was charged March 9 with second-degree harassment, fourth-degree criminal mischief, third-degree burglary, and resisting arrest. According to police, at about 7 a.m., officers responded to an Eastside business for a report of a male who had allegedly thrown items at an employee. Upon arrival, it was determined that Walker, who had previously been banned from the business, became upset and allegedly threw several bananas at an employee on scene, and damaged store property. Officers, police said, located Walker a short distance away, and refused verbal commands from officers. After a brief struggle, Walker was placed into custody, and taken to Jamestown City Jail. He will be in Jamestown City Court later.

– Danielle N. Braun, 39, of Jamestown, was charged March 10 with second-degree criminal contempt, and Vanessa R. Stevens 35, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree harassment. According to police, at about 1:59 a.m., officers responded to a Northside address for an order of protection complaint. Through investigation, it was found that Braun was at the residence and in alleged violation of an order of protection. While on scene, officers also found that Stevens allegedly threatened multiple people within the residence. Both were placed into custody, and taken to the city jail. Both will be in city court later.
