JAMESTOWN POLICE
– William D. Dunlap, 61, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal contempt at 4 p.m. Tuesday after officers responded to a south side home after a reported domestic dispute. A man and woman were allegedly arguing in a common hallway of the home. When officers arrived they allegedly saw Dunlap Jr. inside the home with a person who had an active, full stay away order of protection against Dunlap Jr. Dunlap Jr. was charged and taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.
– Doughshon L. Gholston, 51, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree assault and resisting arrest at 7:43 a.m. Tuesday after officers responded to a north side home for a reported physical domestic dispute. Upon arrival, officers found Gholston had allegedly pushed a woman down a short flight of stairs, resulting in minor injuries. Gholston allegedly initially resisted arrest as officers were placing him into custody, but he was subdued after a brief struggle. Gholston was taken to the Jamestown City Jail until he could be arraigned.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
– PORTLAND – Shawn M. Cettell, 38, of Westfield was charged with DWI, speeding and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle at 5:33 p.m. Feb. 28 after a traffic stop on Route 20 in Portland. Cettell will be in Portland Town Court later.
