JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
– Bruce J. Miles, 37, was charged Jan. 22 with second-degree harassment. According to police, at about 12:04 a.m., officers responded to a Northside residence for a harassment complaint. Upon arrival, officers were made aware that Miles allegedly made threats to harm a victim at the residence, and threw a lighter at the victim. Miles was placed into custody, and taken to city jail. He will be in city court later.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT
– Trever J. Kneer, 26, of Sherman, was charged Jan. 20 with third-degree criminal mischief. According to officials, at about 2:29 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a past tense altercation at a residence in the Village Of Sherman. Upon further investigation it was discovered that Kneer allegedly did intentionally cause damage to a vehicle, which resulted in damages over $250. Kneer was placed into custody and taken to Chautauqua County Jail. He will be in Mina Town Court later.
