CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT
– Mathew J. Dinger, 37, was charged Jan. 17 with second-degree criminal trespass. According to officials, at about 1:50 p.m. deputies responded to an address in the town of North Harmony for reports of a trespass. Through investigation it was discovered Dinger was allegedly using the utilities inside of an apartment that he is not authorized to be in. Dinger was issued an appearance ticket will be North Harmony Town Court later.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
– Ronald L. Decker, 60, of Jamestown, was charged Jan. 17 with criminal obstruction of breathing, and endangering the welfare of child. According to police, at about 8:12 p.m., officers responded to an Eastside residence for a reported domestic dispute. Through investigation, it was discovered that Decker allegedly did place his hands around the neck of a juvenile victim. Police said the victim had red marks around their neck stemming from the incident. Decker was placed into custody without incident and he was taken to Jamestown City Jail. He will be in Jamestown City Court later.
