JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

– William Soto, 60, was charged Jan. 15 with driving while intoxicated, and multiple traffic citations. According to police, at about 1:40 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on Buffalo Street at Blackstone Avenue for a traffic infraction. Upon further investigation, it was found that Soto allegedly was operating the motor vehicle in an intoxicated condition. He was placed in custody, and taken to Jamestown City Jail. He will be in Jamestown City Court later.

– Kristen L. Pattison, 35, was charged Jan. 14 with petit larceny, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. According to police, at about 11:20 p.m., officers responded to CVS Pharmacy, 19 S. Main St., for a shoplifting complaint. Through investigation it was found that Pattison allegedly did steal merchandise belonging to CVS. Pattison was placed into custody, and a quantity of fentanyl allegedly found on her person. She was taken to the city jail, and will be in city court later.

ELLICOTT TOWN POLICE

– Shaun M. Cook, 47, was charged Jan. 12 with two counts of petit larceny. According to police, officers responded to and investigated a larceny complaint, where it is alleged Cook took two high-value sports trading cards from a local business and left without paying for the sports cards. Cook was issued an appearance ticket, and will be in Ellicott Town Court later.

– Timothy M. Cornelius, 39, of Lakewood was charged Jan. 5 with second-degree assault. According to police, officers responded to and investigated an assault that occurred in Celoron in December 2025 where it is alleged Cornelius struck the victim in the face several times causing serious physical injury with the victim needing medical treatment. Cornelius was placed into custody without incident, and will be in town court later.

– Stephen P. Keys, 44 , of Warren, Pa., was charged Jan. 11 with second-degree criminal mischief. According to police, officers responded to a disorderly person complaint in the village of Celoron, where it is alleged Keys damaged several items in a room that he was staying in, and caused a significant amount of damage exceeding an amount of $1,500. Keys was placed into custody, and was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail for a centralized arraignment. Keys will be in town court later.
