JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
— Deven J. Colburn, 29, of Jamestown, was charged with having an active felony warrant and resisting arrest.
Around 5:10 p.m. Friday, officers responded to a report of a suspicious person on the east side of the city. It was reported to officers that the male was on the caller’s porch and the caller didn’t recognize the male.
Upon arrival, officers located an individual matching the provided description. Officers attempted to conduct a street check, at which time the subject fled on foot. The subject entered his residence while fleeing in an attempt to evade officers. Officers were able to locate the male inside his residence and was taken into custody. The individual was identified as Colburn. Futher investigation found that Colburn had outstanding felony warrants issued by Jamestown City Court.
Colburn was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail where he was being held pending arraignment.
— Darieli Rodriguez, 34, was charged with second-degree obstructing government administration.
On Sunday at 2:30 a.m., officers responded to an address on the Eastside of the City for a disorderly female. Upon arrival, officers and members of Alstar EMS were attempting to render
aid to a female with a self inflicted hand laceration. While doing so, Rodriguez got into the faces of officers, and EMS crew multiple times, yelling and demanding they get away from the female needing assistance.
Rodriguez attempted to push the EMS crew away from the other female and attempted to pull the female away from EMS. After being advised to walk away multiple times, Rodriguez refused to obey orders. She was subsequently placed into custody, transported to the Jamestown City Jail where she was released to return to court later.
