CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

– Justin J. Nickerson, 21, of Kennedy was charged Dec. 7 with second-degree burglary, and second-degree criminal contempt. According to officials, at about 2:30 p.m., deputies responded to an address in Kennedy for a possible order of protection violation. Upon arrival deputies located Nickerson at the address. There is a valid order of protection in place stating Nickerson is to stay away from the address. Upon further investigation it was also found Nickerson allegedly entered the dwelling with the intent to commit a crime inside. Nickerson was placed into custody, and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail. He will be in Poland Town Court later.

– Klarisa J. Foster, 35, of Silver Creek, was charged Nov. 24 with promoting prison contraband. According to officials, at about 6:44 p.m. inmate Foster was returned to Chautauqua County Jail from a court appearance and was searched. During the search, Foster was found allegedly to have secreted drug paraphernalia on her body, and the item was secured. Foster is already being held in the county jail on other charges.

– Olivia A. Greene, 18, of South Dayton, was charged Dec. 9 with third-degree criminal mischief. According to officials, at about 4:50 p.m., deputies responded to a reported altercation in the town Of Villenova. Upon further investigation, Greene was arrested and placed into custody. She was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail, and will be in Villenova Town Court later.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

– Devin C. Perez, 31, and Christine M. Perez, 34, both of Jamestown were each charged Dec. 9 with second-degree criminal contempt, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. According to police, at about 4:19 p.m., officers responded to a southside address for a well-being check after local school officials reported concerns regarding the welfare of children in the home. Upon further investigation, officers determined that the residence was in severely unsafe and unsanitary condition. The apartment was found allegedly to have substantial sanitation concerns, environmental hazards, non-functional household facilities, and inadequate safe food resources. The overall condition of the home, police said, presented an immediate risk to the health and safety of the children. During the course of the investigation, police said, it was also discovered that both parents had an active order of protection issued against them on behalf of the youngest child. Devin and Christine were both placed into custody, and taken to the Jamestown City Jail. The children were immediately removed from the residence with the assistance of Child Protective Services, police said. Devin and Christine will be in Jamestown City Court later.

– Raymond C. Brown, 29, of Jamestown, was charged Dec. 8 with two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief. According to police, at about 10:11 p.m., officers responded to an Eastside residence for a reported domestic dispute in progress. Upon further investigation, it was found that Brown allegedly prevented the victim from calling emergency services by taking the victim’s phone from her hands. While doing so, police said, Brown allegedly smashed the victim’s phone onto the ground, causing it to break. Brown was placed into custody, and taken to the city jail. He will be in city court later.
