CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT
— Jaralyn E. Majak, 36, of Silver Creek was charged Thursday with first-degree criminal contempt, petit larceny, and second-degree harassment. According to officials, at about 3:36 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a report of a disorderly person at an address in the town of Hanover. Through investigation, it was determined that Majak allegedly took another person’s dog and refused to give it back. Upon further investigation, it was also found that Majak allegedly violated an order of protection and spit at the individual from whom she allegedly took the dog. Majak was placed into custody, and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail. She will be in Hanover Town Court later.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
— Todd A. Haskins, 51, of Busti was charged Oct. 30 with third-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance while Christine A. Muoio, 49, of Busti was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. According to police, at about 12:17 a.m., officers stopped Haskins, and Muoio for a vehicle and traffic law infraction. During the stop, it was discovered that the motorcycle that was being driven by Haskins had an alleged forged registration. Upon further investigation, it was found that both were in alleged possession of a felony weight of narcotics. Both were placed into custody, and taken to county jail. Haskins and Muoio will be in Busti Town Court later.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
— Nicole R. Lavoice, 40, of Jamestown, was charged Oct. 30 with having an outstanding warrant, and third-degree criminal trespass. According to police, officers were patrolling the area of West First Street when Lavoice was observed walking west on the railroad tracks. She was stopped, and upon further investigation, it was found that Lavoice had an outstanding arrest warrant from the City of Jamestown. She was placed into custody, and taken to Jamestown City Jail, and will be in Jamestown City Court later.
