Area Police Reports
ELLICOTT POLICE
– James D.L. Peterson, 42 , of Jamestown, was charged Sept. 25 with driving while Intoxicated, driving while ability impaired by drugs and no seatbelt. According to police, at about 8 a.m., officers responded to a traffic violation, where it is alleged Peterson was observed not wearing his seatbelt. Upon further investigation it was found that Peterson was operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs. Peterson will be in Ellicott Town Court later.
– Jordan A. Hargrove, 28 , of Falconer, was charged Sept. 26 with Trespass. According to police, at about 5:10 p.m., officers responded to a report of trespass, where it is alleged Hargrove was on Fenner Elementary School grounds, on multiple occasions after being asked to leave. Hargrove will be in town court later.
– Donna J. Torres, 68 , of Jamestown was charged Sept. 28 with third-degree menacing, and second-degree aggravated harassment. According to police, officers responded to a harassment complaint where it is alleged Torres threatened to strike the victim with a blunt object. Torres also threatened to punch the same individual later in the day, police said. Torres was placed into custody, and will be in town court later.
– Jayden K. Feaster, 22 , of Falconer was charged Sept. 28 with second-degree harassment. According to police, officers responded to a Harassment complaint where it is alleged Feaster slapped another individual and threw him to the ground. Feaster was placed in custody, and will appear in town court later.
– Jodi L. Monroe, 47 , of Jamestown was charged Oct. 4 with resisting arrest. According to police, at about 1:30 a.m., officers initiated a traffic stop where it is alleged Monroe was operating her vehicle with a suspended registration. After stopping the vehicle, Monroe exited the driver seat and fled into a local bar despite being told that she was not free to leave. Monroe will be in town court later.
– Merle C. Smith , 44 , of Jamestown was charged Oct. 4 with endangering welfare of a child, and second-degree reckless endangerment. According to police, at about 12 p.m., officers responded to a domestic dispute where it is alleged Smith struck the victim multiple times including pulling the victim’s hair and dragging the victim back to a vehicle. The victim was able to get away at which time Smith attempted to strike the victim with his vehicle while a child was inside the vehicle, police said. Smith was placed into custody, and will be in town court later.
– Ryan J. Spinler, 32 , of Falconer was charged Oct. 1 with first-degree sexual abuse, and endangering the welfare of a child. According to police, at about 4 p.m., officers responded to sexual abuse complaint where it is alleged that on more than one occasion, Spinler touched the intimate parts of the victim whose age was under 11. Spinler was placed into custody, and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail for a centralized arraignment. Spinler will be in town court later.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT
– David Jaglowski, 66, of Forestville, was charged Oct. 5 with fourth-degree criminal mischief, and third-degree unlicensed operator. According to officials, at about 11:23 a.m., deputies responded to an address in Forestville for a possible criminal mischief complaint. Upon further investigation it was found that Jaglowski allegedly committed criminal mischief. Jaglowski was taken into custody, and taken to the county jail. He will be in Hanover Town Court later.
