LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE
A 2-year-old child found wandering on Muto Street in Lakewood has led to charges against a woman.
Lakewood-Busti Police report the toddler was in the care of Rylie Miller, 24, who did not hear the child leave the residence. He was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and released to answer the charges later in court.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT
— CLYMER — At about 4:30 p.m. Saturday, deputies responded to an address for a possible criminal mischief complaint. On arrival, deputies observed damage to a windshield on a motor vehicle. Through an investigation, it was determined William A. Suroviec, 42, of Clymer did intentionally damage the windshield of vehicles that did not belong to him. It was also determined that Suroviec did violate a court mandate in the process of the criminal mischief. Suroviec did flee the scene, and a warrant of arrest was signed by the town judge for second-degree criminal contempt and third-degree criminal mischief. At about 1:15 a.m. Sunday, Suroviec was taken into custody on the outstanding warrants with the assistance of the Jamestown Police Department. Suroviec was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail to await arraignment.
— A Pomfret man was charged with first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child.
At 12:03 a.m. Sunday, deputies responded to an address on Route 60 in the town for a report of an underage party. Through investigation it was determined that the owner of the residence, Justin M Palmer, 38, was providing a location for underage subjects to consume alcohol. He will be in court later.
— At around 11 p.m. Friday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Fairmount Avenue in the town of Ellicott. The operator was identified as Christine L. Foringer, 58, of Cherry Creek. Further investigation found that Foringer was operating the motor vehicle while intoxicated. She was charged with DWI, DWI per se, and no stopping/standing/parking on a highway. She will answer charges later in town court.
JAMESTOWN POLICE
— Chelsea T. Coulter, 33, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
At 4:47 p.m. Friday, officers responded to a west side address for a reported domestic dispute. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with the victim. Upon further investigation, it was found that Coulter brandished a knife at the victim, and ripped the victim’s shirt during the course of a dispute. Coulter was subsequently taken into custody without incident, and transported to Jamestown City Jail. She was held pending arraignment for Jamestown City Court.
— Anthony M. Brown, 21, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree menacingresisting arrest and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
At 2:01 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to UPMC Chautauqua for a disorderly person. Upon arrival, officers learned that Brown threatened hospital staff with a pocket knife that he smuggled into the ER. Officers placed him into custody after a brief struggle and he was transported to the city jail where he was held pending arraignment.
— Debbyan Rivera, 31, of Jamestown was charged with unecessary noise.
At about 11 p.m. Thursday, officers were dispatched to a residence on the south side of the city for an “ongoing” noise complaint. Officers arrived on scene and could hear loud music coming from within an apartment, which was a disturbance to the community. Officers additionally observed the female resident outside, who then entered her apartment upon officers arrival. Serveral attempts were made to make contact with the resident of that apartment for an extended period of time. Finally, officers made contact with Rivera, who was not cooperative with officers. She will be in Jamestown City Court at a later time.
— Ralph R. Patterrson III, 45, of Jamestown was charged with resisting arrest, seventh-degree criminal possesstion of a sontrolled substance and having several outstanding felony arrest warrants.
At 4:30 p.m., officers were on patrol in the area of East 8th Street and North Main Street and observed Patterson in the vicinity on a bicycle. Officers were aware that Patterson had several active felony arrest warrants issued by the Jamestown City Court.
When officers attempted to take Patterson into custody, he fled on his bicycle. After a brief pursuit, he was taken into custody without further incident. A search conducted revealed a quantity of methamphetamine on his person. He was being held in the Jamestown City Jail pending his arraignment.
— Kerri J. Latona, 44, of Jamestown was charged with an improper Right turn, operating with no lights, driving while intoxicated per se, and aggravated DWI-blood alcohol content at 0.18 or higher.
At 12:16 a.m. Saturday, officers were on routine patrol in the downtown area and observed a vehicle committing several traffic violations and proceeded to conduct a traffic stop. During the stop, it was determined that Latona was operating the vehicle under the influence. She was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. She was released on several citations.
— Mohamed S. Mouwakeh, 51, an out of state resident was charged with public lewdness.
At 11:23 a.m. Saturday, officers were dispatched to 100 W. Sixth St. for a disorderly person. Upon arrival officers made contact with the victim and the suspect, Mouwakeh. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail and later released.
