CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

– Crystal R. Borst, 35, of 6645 Prospect Station Road, Mayville was charged Tuesday with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and third-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Around 3:45 p.m. deputies responded to a stolen motor vehicle that the Jamestown Police Department had located. Borst was transferred to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

JAMESTOWN POLICE

– Kyle S. Jarvis, 33, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree assault and second-degree unlawful imprisonment at 12:16 p.m. Tuesday after officers responded to an address on the west side of the city for a past-tense domestic incident. While officers were speaking with a woman, it was discovered that she had been assaulted early Tuesday morning. The woman said Jarvis allegedly held her down and struck her in the face multiple times causing physical injury. Police report Jarvis was found inside the apartment and was charged. He was taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.
