JAMESTOWN POLICE

– Three city residents face charges after officers responded to the south side for a reported incident at 5:32 p.m. Thursday. Police report that while investigating the original incident it was learned that a domestic incident had allegedly taken place in the residence. Ray M. Wolfe Jr., 44, of Jamestown had allegedly hit and choked a person during the domestic incident. He was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing and blood flow and was taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned. Caroline R. Penhollow, 27, and William C. Leamer, 42, both of Jamestown, were charged with overdriving, torturing, and injuring animals and failure to provide sustenance after officers reportedly saw a young malnourished dog inside the home.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

– Jim H. Weaver, 78, of Pepper Pike, Ohio, was charged at 8:10 p.m. Thursday with second-degree harassment after deputies responded to an Ellery address for a reported altercation. Weaver allegedly hit another person with a plastic baseball bat. Weaver was charged and released with appearance tickets to be in Ellery Town Court later.
