JAMESTOWN POLICE

– Mark J. Riolo, 57, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, petit larceny, third-degree burglary and second-degree criminal trespass at noon June 20 when officers responded to a north side address for a reported past-tense domestic incident. While investigating the incident, Riolo arrived and questioned the victim about the police presence. Officers learned that Riolo had allegedly illegally entered the victim’s garage and residence, causing damage to the victim’s property. As a result, Riolo was charged and taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.

– Richard A. Poorman III, 40, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal contempt at 1:14 p.m. Monday after officers responded to a south side home for a domestic dispute. Poorman allegedly had a full stay-away order of protection out of Jamestown City Court for him to stay away from that residence. Poorman was charged and taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.

– Kenneth Walker, 40, of Falconer was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after city police officers and the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office pulled a vehicle over near North Main and East Sixth streets at 3:55 p.m. Monday. Walker, a passenger in the vehicle, allegedly had methamphetamine. Walker was charged and released with an appearance ticket to be in court later.
