CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
– Jonathan O. Barnes, 47, of Mayville was charged with second-degree criminal contempt after deputies responded to a reported order of protection violation at 10:52 p.m. Wednesday. Barnes will be in Chautauqua Town Court later.
JAMESTOWN POLICE
– Dylan S. Griffith, 34, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal contempt at 7:31 p.m. Thursday after officers responded to the city’s east side for a reported domestic incident. Griffith was allegedly found inside a person’s residence while there was an active order of protection for Griffith to stay away from the other person. Griffith was taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.
– Jordan B. Dandridge, 22 of Buffalo was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell at 4:32 p.m. Thursday after city police allegedly saw two men commit vehicle and traffic law violations on the city’s west side. Officers then conducted a street check on the men. One of the men identified himself as Jordan B. Dandridge, who police say allegedly refused to listen to commands to take his hands out of his pockets. Officers conducted a pat down of Dandridge for officer safety purposes and allegedly found a revolver in the waist band of Dandridge’s pants as well as crack cocaine. Police also report finding a large sum of cash. Dandridge was charged and taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.
– Illinois D. Jackson, 21, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree criminal contempt after officers conducted a warrant check on the city’s east side. Jackson was allegedly found hiding behind a couch despite having a valid stay-away order of protection against the occupant of the home. Jackson was charged adn taken to the city jail until he can be arraigned.
