JAMESTOWN POLICE

– Devonte D. Hampton, 33, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree criminal mischief and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon at 9:30 a.m. Monday after officers were flagged down by a person near North Main Street and West 15th Street. The woman said Hampton allegedly broke her cellphone. Hampton was reportedly found a few blocks away. He was taken into custody without incident, with police allegedly finding a pair of brass knuckles on his person. The woman also said during another domestic incident that occurred on Monday around 1 .a.m. that Hampton allegedly broke a door handle of a vehicle belonging to the woman. Hampton was taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.

– Gabriel S. Colburn, 21, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment and resisting arrest at 3:40 a.m. Tuesday after officers responded to a reported domestic incident on the city’s south side. Colburn allegedly unlawfully imprisoned another person by not allowing the person to leave a room and then pinning the person to the ground. According to a police report, while officers were investigating the incident, Colburn allegedly attempted several times to retreat back into his residence. Colburn was charged and taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.

ELLICOTT POLICE

– Tina L. Larsen, 41, of Ellicott was charged with four counts of endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment on May 30 at 10:43 p.m. after Ellicott police responded to a domestic dispute. It’s alleged Larsen allegedly hit a person several times in front of four children under the age of 17. Larsen was charged and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment. Larsen will be in Ellicott Town Court later.

– Dylan Z. Barber, 25 , of Ellicott was charged with third-degree assault on May 30 at 9:54 a.m. after officers responded to a domestic dispute in progress where it is alleged Barber involved himself in a domestic dispute that was occurring in the residence and assaulted a person causing injury. Barber was charged and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail for a centralized arraignment. Barber will be in Ellicott Town Court later.

– Dale R. Linkous, 27, of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia at 2:08 p.m. May 22 after Ellicott police investigated a reported unwanted person at the Quality Inn. It’s alleged Linkous overstayed his visit and was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia as well as a white powdery substance believed to be narcotics. Linkous was booked at the Ellicott Police Department and released with an appearance ticket to be in Ellicott Town Court later.
